Sven Osusky
Owner / ASE Master Certified Technician

With over 40 years experience, Sven Osusky is a highly skilled and trusted automotive expert in the European automotive industry. Originally from Slovakia, he began his career there before moving to the U.S. in 1989 and settling in Seattle, WA. While working at Mercedes and VW/Audi dealerships, Sven honed his expertise across all German makes and models.

In 1999, he moved to Spokane, WA, serving as Shop Foreman at a VW/Audi dealership for 12 years. Those years deepened his technical knowledge and strengthened his passion for European vehicles. In 2011, Sven fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening Europro Automotive in Spokane Valley, where he quickly built a reputation for fairness, honesty, and top-quality service. In 2024 Sven and LaniJo sold Europro Automotive and relocated to Rapid City to be closer to family who reside in Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. They opened SoDak AutoHaus in March 2025.

Sven’s passion for European cars started early. As a young boy in Slovakia, he’d salvage bike parts to build working machines—proof of the ingenuity that still drives him today.

What Sven enjoys most about his work is the satisfaction of solving problems, especially challenging issues, where the solution isn't obvious. Known as an “auto detective,” Sven has an incredible ability to diagnose even the most complex issues. His creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills have earned him the trust of countless customers over the years. He stays committed to ongoing education—both for himself and his team—ensuring every repair meets the highest industry standards.

Nathan Anderson
ASE Master Certified Technician

With more than 30 years in the automotive industry, Nathan Anderson brings experience, integrity, and genuine care to every vehicle he works on. He began his career in high school and continued with formal technical training immediately after graduation. He has since built a lifetime of experience working for both independent shops and dealerships on all makes and models, gaining a deep understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes. Nathan also owned and operated his own repair shop for eight years and has been an ASE Master Certified Technician since 2001. His background includes extensive dealer-level training and ongoing technical education to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

Nathan’s passion for European cars grew from an appreciation of their engineering precision and driver-focused design. A longtime fan of Porsche and Audi, he has owned and restored several over the years — with a special love for classic air-cooled 911s. Nathan grew up throughout northeast and central South Dakota, spending the last 15 years in the Rapid City area, where his lifelong passion for cars continues to thrive.

What Nathan enjoys most about his work is the challenge and craftsmanship that come with European vehicles. He values their attention to detail and the enthusiasm of their owners. For him, working on cars that people truly care about makes every day rewarding.

LaniJo Osusky
Owner / Service Manager

With over 30 years of experience in customer service, LaniJo understands the importance of top-notch service. She values every customer who walks through the door and believes that clear, honest communication is key to an exceptional experience. Her dedication to keeping customers informed every step of the way perfectly complements the high-quality work delivered by our technicians.

LaniJo grew up in eastern Montana, where her love of cars started early. Her dad—a mechanic and avid car collector—often took her and her sister on Sunday drives to visit car lots, where they’d pick out their favorites and peek through the windows, pointing out what they liked most about each car. In high school, her cheerleading coach bought a sporty red BMW, and for LaniJo, it was love at first sight. Years later, LaniJo made that dream a reality with a BMW of her own, and her passion for European cars has only grown since.

What LaniJo enjoys most about her work is helping customers and giving them confidence in the services SoDak AutoHaus provides. When you walk into SoDak AutoHaus, you’ll be greeted by LaniJo’s warm smile and genuine “How can we help you today?” attitude. She’s known for going the extra mile to answer questions, solve problems, and make sure every customer leaves happy and confident about their vehicle. Her care, energy, and attention to detail are just a few of the reasons our customers love coming back.

Amanda Johnson
Lead Estimator/Parts Manager

With over 10 years experience in the automotive industry, Amanda is known for her strong work ethic, extensive knowledge and genuine desire to help others. Amanda was an integral part of Sven and LaniJo's shop, Europro Automotive, in Spokane and when the time came to open SoDak AutoHaus they didn't hesitate bringing Amanda on board. She can be trusted to build accurate estimates and source the correct and often times hard to find parts, ensuring every repair is handled with accuracy and care.

Amanda’s appreciation for European vehicles began early in life. Summers spent camping in a Volkswagen campervan sparked her love for these cars and the sense of adventure they represent. Over the years, that passion has grown as she’s learned more about European engineering, design, and performance. She enjoys sharing that knowledge with customers, helping them understand what makes their vehicles special and how to keep them performing at their best.

What Amanda enjoys most about her work is helping customers feel confident in the care their vehicles receive. She takes pride in educating car owners on proper maintenance and preventative care because she knows that well-informed customers are happy customers. Whether it’s recommending the right parts, walking a customer through a repair plan, or simply answering questions about their car, Amanda goes the extra mile to make every experience positive.
